Khumbu Region is most popular trekking region in eastern
part of Nepal. This region covers many trekking routes and destination. Also this region has other many adventure
trekking, climbing and expedition. Every year thousand s of climbers and
trekkers reach to this destination.
Khumbu Region Trekking becomes the number one trekking
destination because of highest peak in the world. Mount Everest lies in the
region of Khumbu and people feel proud to get to Everest Base Camp.
Sherpa villages and its unique culture is another important
parts of this trek. It has many trekking routes which are famous for adventure
lover. This region has a bit more facility for trekker than other trekking
region. Now a day, some trekking places, it has health post, some good hotels and
internet facilities. Telephone call is available every trekking camp.
For rescue, within 15 minutes, helicopter is ready to pick
you up, if you get ill or accident. They have pony trek too, if you cannot walk
or feel lazy to walk or sometimes it can get altitude sickness, that time also
you can have service to save from that danger situation.
Regarding the trekking for this region, Everest Base Camp Trek, Gokyo Lake Trek, 3 passes Trek, Chola Pass
Trek, Namche Bazaar Trek, Everest View Trek and other treks are usually used by
trekker.
But whole of them, EverestBase Camp Trek is still on first choice of trekker, and then other comes in
optional trek. Gokyo Lake Trek is also very famous and use by thousand of
trekker every season and year.
Peak climbing is another part for climber. Khumbhu Region

Sherpa’s main profession is trekking guide, porter, peak
climbing guide and kitchen crew, Expedition guide, porter and cook etc. They
have hotel business in the Khumbhu Region. Local people of Khubhu region than
other people cannot establish the business there.

for other peoples those who come from different area and community.
