This trek begins from domestic airport of Kathmandu, Nepal.
It has a romantic flight from Kathmandu with nice views of great Himalayas on the
sky. After 35 minutes flight from Kathmandu to Lukla; it begins walking from
Lukla to Phakding.
Phakding is first trekking stop point and get to Namche
Bazaar which is the main trekking market and business point of Khumbu region. All
kinds of accommodation, shops, offices related to tourism are concentrated
there.
Trekkers stop one night more for acclimatization because it
is located 3400 meters high. After Namche, trekking goes up to Tyangboche where
nice village is there and some Himalayan views can be seen from there.
Likewise, trekking route for Everest Base Camp continue
to Gorakshep via Pheriche. There is biggest Monastery constructed in
Tyangboche. Every one visit that Gompa
and take a bliss from Tantric Lamas.
Especially trekker dream to view the Mount Everest and put
their legs on Everest Base Camp and Kalapathar.
To back to Lukla, there is some optional trekking route to
walk down or same route with seeing the views of Mountains, villages, Sherpa
community and caste. Because Gokyo Lake also main attraction of Everest Region
Trek. So after get to top of the world, one can do Chola pass to reach to Gokyo
lake trek which is alternative route and slowly come down to Namche Bazaar to
Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu.
In this way, one can complete the Everest Base Camp Trek.
